Certified Event Architecture Practitioner (CEAP)
Certified Event Architecture Practitioner (CEAP) is a professional designation awarded on successful completion of the Event Architecture® Principles of Event Management in Practice (EAPoEMiP) programme.
The designation is conferred by Conference Consultancy South Africa (Pty) Ltd through its School for the Art & Science of Event Management, which operates as the organisation’s professional development and training division.
The CEAP designation recognises demonstrated competence in the practical application of event management principles, supported by structured learning, defined competencies, formal assessment, and a minimum pass standard. The designation is awarded at Cum Laude (distinction) level, signifying a standard of excellence in professional practice.
Achievement of the CEAP designation reflects the holder’s ability to plan, manage, and deliver events with confidence, and demonstrates their capacity to work accurately, methodically, and responsibly under pressure in complex event environments. It affirms the designee’s readiness to apply event management principles systematically, make sound operational decisions, and uphold professional standards in practice.
The designation may be used as a post-nominal (CEAP) or suffix behind the holder’s name and reflects the holder’s commitment to professional and ethical practice, ongoing competence development, and continuous skills improvement in event management.
