Quality assurance of the online learning environment and digital learning platform is provided by members of the Learning Technologies Unit within the Department of Mathematics, Science and Technology Education (MSTeD), Faculty of Education, at University of Johannesburg. This collaboration contributes to the programme integrity, strengthening the learner experience, educational design quality and the effective delivery of online and blended learning methodologies.
Certain programmes may qualify for Continuing Professional Development (CPD/CEU) recognition through industry bodies or professional associations, subject to the policies and approval processes of those organisations at the time.
The School may issue Continuing Education Units (CEUs), Continuing Professional Development (CPD) recognition, or professional development hours for selected programmes where applicable. These are intended to support ongoing professional competence development within the industry.
Yes. Participants who successfully meet the applicable completion and assessment requirements receive formal recognition appropriate to the programme completed. Depending on the programme, this may include a Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, Certification of Professional Competence, or the conferral of a professional designation where applicable.

Most programmes are presented online to accommodate an international audience of learners, although selected workshops, masterclasses and specialist engagements may be offered in hybrid or in-person formats.

The School for the Art & Science of Event Management is a private professional education provider. Our programmes are positioned as industry-led professional development and competence-based education programmes, informed by international standards for event professionals and the international accepted practices exchange. Unless specifically stated otherwise, programmes are not presented as qualifications registered with country-specific qualification frameworks (NQF). Our programmes are however recognised for continuing education or continuing professional development credits with most industry associations and bodies.

Yes. Structured payment arrangements may be available for selected programmes, subject to approval and adherence to agreed payment terms. Details are provided during the admissions process.
Programme fees are generally payable prior to commencement unless an approved payment arrangement has been concluded. Specific payment dates and terms are communicated during registration and admission.
